The 5th annual Summer FUN took place in Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center July 7th through July 9th, 2011 . Mr. Robert (BJ) Neff was there promoting CONECA (pronounced: CO?NECA) a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers - just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly.
BJ also took part in Summer FUN' s free educational seminar event. Lecturing on Understanding Modern Die Clashes. Some of the most interesting (and valuable) coins on the market are the product of clashed dies. Error and variety expert B. J. Neff explained everything you needed to know in a fascinating power point presentation on clashed dies.
